Our client is looking for a meticulous and dedicated Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to oversee operations at various commercial properties in **Centurion, Gauteng, ZA**. This position is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all assigned sites. The supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of cleaning staff, developing cleaning schedules, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment, training new staff members, and addressing any client concerns related to cleaning services. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to lead by example and maintain a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct the daily activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning services. Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all designated areas. Conduct regular quality inspections of all cleaned areas to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations. Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage. Train new cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of equipment. Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Address and resolve any cleaning-related issues or complaints from clients in a prompt and professional manner. Prepare reports on cleaning activities, staff performance, and inventory levels for management. Collaborate with building management and clients to coordinate cleaning services and special requests. Motivate and support the cleaning team to foster a culture of excellence and accountability. Identify opportunities for process improvements in cleaning operations. Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and report any defects or needs for repair.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or janitorial industry. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Good understanding of health and safety regulations in a commercial setting. Ability to create and manage work schedules and task assignments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality results. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties as needed and conduct inspections. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are advantageous. First Aid certification is a plus. Experience with specialized cleaning services (e.g., carpet cleaning, floor polishing) is beneficial.
