Job Description
Salary: R30 per hour. Potential earning R4800.00per month

Job Summary:

Our clientis seeking dedicated and hardworking General Cleaners to join our team. The ideal candidates will take pride in their work and ensure that the clients' spaces remain clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas.
• Maintain floors by stripping wax, re-waxing, and polishing surfaces.
• Clean equipment, partitions, walls, and surfaces such as ledges, shelves, and cupboards.
• Empty and sanitize trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Use electrical scrubbing and polishing machines after proper training.
• Perform carpet suction cleaning and spot treatment.
• Apply cleaning chemicals safely as directed by the Supervisor.
• Replenish consumables like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management.
• Lock and secure facilities after cleaning duties are completed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Complete tasks efficiently, meeting high cleaning standards.
• Handle customer requests and special cleaning tasks as required.
• Work independently or as part of a cleaning team.
• Perform other duties as required to support business operations.

Daily Operations:
• Work shifts are communicated via WhatsApp/SMS.
• Shifts may change based on weather and client needs.
• Transport arrangements may be provided in certain cases.
• Paid travel time of 30 minutes is allowed for trips to the site.
• Travel time home is not remunerated unless the location is more than 40km from the CBD.
• Employees must wear the full uniform at all times.
• Overtime may be required occasionally.
• Staff must sign the register at the end of every shift.
• Employees must adhere to the company's disciplinary code of conduct.
