Our client, a reputable dealership in Paarden Eiland is looking for an energetic and accurate Picker/Packer to join their parts department.

The successful candidate will ensure that customer and internal part orders are picked and packed efficiently, accurately and securely, contributing to smooth operations in this fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:

Duties include
• Pick customer orders accurately from warehouse locations using pick lists and scanning systems
• Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit
• Operate handheld scanners and computerized warehouse systems efficiently
• Verify order accuracy before dispatch and resolve any discrepancies
• Process urgent or priority orders within required timeframes
• Maintain picking accuracy and productivity standards
• Organize and restock picking areas to support smooth operations
• Label packages correctly with shipping information and handling instructions
• Assist with loading vehicles for deliveries when needed
• Report damaged stock, picking errors, or system issues promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in packing areas
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
• Grade 12 certificate (Matric), preferably with Mathematics/Literacy
• Computer literacy and ability to learn scanning and warehouse management systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good hand-eye coordination for picking operations
• Physical fitness to walk, stand, and lift items throughout the day
• Ability to work at a steady pace and meet productivity targets
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Previous warehouse or picking experience
• Experience with handheld scanners or barcode systems
• Knowledge of automotive parts is advantageous
• Understanding of packaging and shipping procedures
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
• Team player who collaborates well with others
