Job Description
Reporting to the transport manager, the Driver & Merchandiser — 1 Ton Bakkie will support a growing e-commerce fulfilment business in Polokwane, Limpopo. The position calls for someone who knows their way around the area and plans routes efficiently.

You will work to daily delivery targets in a fast-moving distribution environment.

Responsibilities
• Assist with stock loading at the depot and confirm orders before departure.
• Reconcile cash-on-delivery payments and returns with the office at shift end.
• Plan the most efficient route to complete all drops within the working day.
• Capture accurate proof of delivery and resolve short or damaged deliveries on the spot.
• Load and unload goods safely and verify quantities against delivery documentation.
• Carry out daily safety checks on the bakkie or 1.5 ton truck and keep it clean and roadworthy.
• Deliver stock to customers, retail stores, and branches along a set daily route.

Requirements
• Comfortable driving a 1 ton bakkie or 1.5 ton truck on daily multi-drop routes.
• A valid Code B (light motor vehicle) driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Physically fit and willing to assist with loading and unloading.
• Comfortable with electronic proof-of-delivery and route apps on a smartphone.
• Honest and trustworthy when handling stock and cash collections.
• At least two years of delivery or distribution driving experience.

Qualifications
Grade 10. Valid Code B licence.
