Job Description
The Furniture Removal Driver — 3.5 Ton Truck will carry out daily safety checks on the 1.5 or 3.5 ton truck and keep it clean, complete inventory lists and proof-of-delivery paperwork accurately and handle fragile, valuable, and bulky items with care.

Responsibilities
• Load, secure, and transport household and office furniture for local moves and large deliveries.
• Plan routes and timing to meet agreed move and delivery schedules.
• Provide courteous, reassuring service to customers during a stressful move.
• Wrap and protect furniture and appliances to prevent damage during the move.
• Handle fragile, valuable, and bulky items with care and professionalism.
• Complete inventory lists and proof-of-delivery paperwork accurately.
• Carry out daily safety checks on the 1.5 or 3.5 ton truck and keep it clean and roadworthy.

Requirements
• Previous furniture removals, moving, or large-item delivery experience.
• A valid Code B (light motor vehicle) driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Able to lead a small crew and work to a tight schedule.
• Careful handling of fragile and valuable household goods.
• Confident driving and manoeuvring a 1.5 or 3.5 ton truck in residential streets and complexes.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items safely.
• Strong customer-service manner and a calm, professional attitude.

Qualifications
Grade 10. Valid Code B licence and removals experience.
