Job Description
Reporting to the relevant manager, the Shopping Centre Cleaner will operate industrial cleaning machinery and sweep, mop, and polish hard floor surfaces using appropriate cleaning products at an established business in Polokwane, Limpopo.

Responsibilities
• Manage and safely store all cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring hazardous substances are labelled and locked away when not in use.
• Operate industrial cleaning machinery such as floor polishers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers safely per training guidelines.
• Clean and sanitise all bathroom facilities including toilets, urinals, basins, and mirrors, and replenish soap and paper supplies.
• Sweep, mop, and polish hard floor surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards such as broken fixtures, leaking taps, or slippery floors to the supervisor promptly.
• Clean kitchen and breakroom areas including countertops, sinks, microwaves, and refrigerators, ensuring communal areas are hygienic.

Requirements
• A clear criminal record is often required for positions at schools, healthcare facilities, or secure commercial premises.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and correct use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and personal protective gear to work safely.
