We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade-Tested Red Seal Welder to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in manufacturing and fabricating mining equipment for the international mining market. This position requires technical expertise, precision, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
• Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding on a variety of materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair mining equipment components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all welding and fabrication work meets strict quality and safety standards.
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, uniformity, and compliance with project requirements.
• Identify and rectify defects or inconsistencies in welds or fabricated components.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Work closely with engineers, production teams, and supervisors to ensure project deadlines and specifications are met.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions accurately.

Requirements
• Trade-Tested Red Seal Welder certification
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in the mining or heavy engineering sector.
