Job Description
Auto-Electrician

Keep Our Fleet Moving, Safely & Reliably
• Pretoria
• R22 000 – R28 000 CTC
• Side Tippers & Tautliners

If you're the kind of Auto-Electrician who actually enjoys solving tough electrical problems, hates shortcuts, and takes pride in getting a trailer safely back on the road, this role was built for you.

We run a busy fleet. Things move fast. When something breaks, you're the person everyone trusts to diagnose it quickly and fix it properly the first time.

Not looking for a parts-swapper.
Job details

You’ll be the go-to expert for all trailer electrical systems, especially on Side Tippers and Tautliners. Expect your days to include:
• Tracking down wiring faults that others cant find
• Repairing CAN‑bus issues, lights, sensors, ABS/EBS modules & harnesses
• Keeping safety systems sharp: markers, clusters, LED lighting, buzzers
• Doing preventative checks so breakdowns stop before they start
• Installing new components the right way — clean, neat, reliable
• Supporting the workshop team with technical know‑how

If it's electrical and it lives on a trailer its yours.
Requirements
• Trade‑tested / Red Seal Auto‑Electrician
• 3+ years working on commercial trailers or trucks
• Someone who reads a wiring diagram like others read a map
• A problem‑solver who can work independently and move fast
• High standards. Zero shortcuts. Safety first.

Bonus points if you've worked on side tippers or heavy fleet environments, you'll slot in immediately.

Looking for a sharp, confident technician who owns their workshop space.
