We are seeking a responsible and experienced Driver to join our operations team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, materials, and equipment to and from customer sites, suppliers, and company premises.

The ideal candidate must possess a valid South African Code 10 driver’s licence with a valid PDP. A Code 14 licence will be considered advantageous.
Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with road traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport goods, stock, materials, and equipment to designated locations.
• Load and offload goods safely and securely.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance issues.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Verify delivery documentation and obtain signed proof of delivery where required.
• Assist with route planning and ensure timely deliveries and collections.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
• Ensure cargo is secured correctly before transportation.
• Assist warehouse and operational staff when required.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and vehicle checklists.
• Report accidents, incidents, or traffic violations immediately.
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers and suppliers.
• Perform general driving and operational duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 / Matric certificate preferred.
• Valid South African Code 10 driver’s licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Minimum 3 years’ driving experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of routes within Cape Town and surrounding areas.
• Clean driving record.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading and offloading when required.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

Advantageous Requirements
• Valid Code 14 driver’s licence.
• Experience operating heavy vehicles or trucks.
• Forklift licence advantageous.
• Previous experience in logistics, transport, or warehouse operations.
