Job Description
Introduction

We are currently seeking an experienced Gluing Machine Operator with strong carton packaging and machine operating experience for a manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

​​​​​
β€’ Operate and monitor gluing machines efficiently
β€’ Set up machines according to production requirements
β€’ Conduct quality checks on finished products
β€’ Minimize downtime and material wastage
β€’ Ensure production targets are achieved
β€’ Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
β€’ Report machine faults and production issues
β€’ Maintain health and safety standards at all times

Preferred Experience:
β€’ Straight line and crash lock carton experience
β€’ FMCG or printing/packaging industry exposure
β€’ High-speed production environment experience

Desired Experience & Qualification
β€’ Grade 12 / Matric
β€’ Minimum 3–5 years’ experience operating gluing machines
β€’ Experience within packaging, printing, or carton manufacturing industry
β€’ Knowledge of machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting
β€’ Ability to read job cards and production specifications
β€’ Quality focused with strong attention to detail
β€’ Able to work shifts and overtime when required
β€’ Good communication skills
β€’ Available immediately will be advantageous
