Job Description
The opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our existing Steward and Portering team. These roles are crucial in supporting the provision of a high standard of cleaning, steward and portering services to all customers across the University, including our students, staff and visitors.

We are looking for someone with experience of basic building repair and manual work, who can interact with customers, use lifting equipment & PPE, and is willing to undergo training as appropriate. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work well in a team and independently, and be able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

This is a part‑time position, operating 5 days over
7. Hours of work are 26.4 per week, and flexibility regarding working hours is required as some out of hours and weekend working will be required.
