Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Durban for a Delivery Driver.
The Delivery

Driver will be primarily responsible for transporting goods efficiently and ensuring their safe and timely delivery to designated locations. Daily tasks will include vehicle inspections, scheduling deliveries, loading and unloading items, maintaining accurate delivery records, and ensuring compliance with road safety and company policies. As a key representative of TFA Trucks & Machines, the Delivery Driver will uphold excellent customer service standards during interactions with clients.
Qualifications
β€’ Strong Customer Service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and address inquiries effectively.
β€’ Experience in Forklift Operation and safe handling of heavy or bulky goods during loading and unloading activities.
β€’ Proficiency in Training and safe driving practices, including the ability to adapt to new vehicles or processes.
β€’ Sales acumen and knowledge of Food & Beverage logistics are considered advantageous.
β€’ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
β€’ Ability to manage time effectively and follow delivery schedules accurately.
β€’ Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations in Durban.
β€’ Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks when necessary.
β€’ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
