The Position

Based at Mosman Park Care Centre, your role as a Cleaner is to ensure our aged care facility is a safe, spotless, and welcoming space for residents. Through attentive cleaning and care, you’ll help create an environment that feels like home. If you’re dedicated to creating a positive, nurturing atmosphere and take pride in high standards, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our seniors every day!

This is a permanent part-time role offering 50 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday 8am - 1pm

Key responsibilities:
β€’ Demonstrates competent time management techniques in cleaning routine
β€’ Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas
β€’ Follows cleaning schedule
β€’ Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values
β€’ Considers resident lifestyles and personal choice
β€’ Maintains effective interpersonal relationships
β€’ Manage laundry routines in line with the laundry schedule

Essential Criteria:
β€’ Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
β€’ Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
β€’ Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
β€’ NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
β€’ Proven organisational and time management skills
β€’ Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required
β€’ Willingness to attend 1 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
