Our client, a premier property management firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Facilities Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning and sanitation operations for a portfolio of high-profile commercial properties in **Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA**. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring a meticulous eye for detail and strong leadership capabilities to ensure pristine environments for tenants and visitors. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of cleaning staff, providing direction, training, and performance evaluation. Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning schedules and procedures for all assigned properties. Ensure all cleaning activities are conducted in compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness and identify areas requiring attention. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance. Train new staff members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and the proper use of equipment and chemicals. Address and resolve any cleaning-related issues or complaints from property managers or tenants promptly and efficiently. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures among the cleaning team. Monitor and control labor costs and supply expenditures to stay within budget. Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or in a similar management role within the cleaning or facilities management industry. Minimum of 4 years of experience in professional cleaning and sanitation. Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment, as well as industry best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to train and motivate a diverse team of cleaning staff.
