Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare components or areas for welding by cleaning, laying out, and setting up.
• Utilize welding techniques including SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW with inspections as needed (VT and PT).
• Operate arc welding equipment and oxyfuel cutting torches to ensure proper alignment and fit.
• Adhere to all safety precautions associated with welding processes.
• Read and interpret welding symbols from blueprints, specifications, and sketches.
• Set up machines and welding equipment as necessary.
