Job Description
Guard Security Officers provide surveillance of our facilities by monitoring work sites through cameras and conducting perimeter patrol. The guard will record and interchange entry to trucks and visitors and conduct inspections of equipment entering and leaving facilities. They identify any potential security risks and notify supervisors. They provide security to our facilities, products and respond to alarm system emergencies and maintain a daily written log of all activities during shift.

GUARD ORDERS ARE AS FOLLOW:
• You are to close The Main gate, North Gate, and South gate to the Terrier yard while you tour.

The Gates will be closed after hours and all-day during Saturday and Sunday.
• You will be issued a key to enter the property through the Main Gate. Make sure you lock the gate after your tour.
• The security tour is to be made every hour in the security truck at a slow pace. You are to shine your spotlight in the areas between the warehouses to ensure no one is trespassing. Warehouses with normally open doors are checked. You will be made aware of warehouse doors that should be closed.
• The fence line should be lite up to check for trespassers.
• There are a few office trailers on the property, make sure the doors are locked.

Instructions as to who is authorized to enter property after hours will be given to you in advance by a Member of Management.
• In the event you encounter trespassers do not attempt to apprehend, you are to move to a safe area and call the Jacinto City Police Department. The police will be advised we are making security tours of the property. Ask the Police Officer to issue an alert slip, similar to the Terrier yard alert. This will inform officers of what we are doing. In the event of a problem you are to notify the emergency contact numbers and the Safety Department.
• The logbook for the security tours must be filled out daily. Do not make the tours at the same time. Change your tour times in order to not set a pattern. In addition to the date and time you are to enter in the remarks section anything found out of order. If the police are called to the property enter time called and arrival time. The time and person on the emergency list must be noted.
