Pay + Benefits
• Pay: Starting $13.00, overtime eligible

About the Role

As a janitorial cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for clients and their communities.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities listed may change based on site needs and as required by management
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum multiple floor types (including industrial and backpack vacuums)
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Clean break rooms (sinks, counters, microwaves, refrigerators)
• Empty trash, replace liners, and clean receptacles as needed
• Dust and wipe desks, office furniture, and common areas
• Restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Use step ladders at times to dust/clean higher areas
• Move light to moderate items (boxes, furniture, crates, equipment) to clean areas
• Spot clean stains using approved chemicals and solutions
• Follow processes for labeling, dilution, and safe use of chemicals
• Wear required PPE and follow all safety rules
• Keep the janitor closet clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company policies, protocols, and guidelines

Qualifications
• 18+ years old
• Reliable transportation (or ability to consistently get to the job site)
• Stable work history showing reliability and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow checklists, instructions, and quality standards
• Attendance an punctuality are essential

Technology and Communication Requirements
To track time and attendance and communicate with supervisors, you must have:
• A working smartphone with a data plan
• Ability to download and use a mobile app (iOS or Android)
• Mobile app time keeping is mandatory
• Comfort communicating with supervisors by phone/text/app as needed

Language Requirements
• Ability to read basic words/numbers and follow simple written instructions
• Ability to speak and write simple sentences in English

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
• Standing/walking for most of the shift (4 - 8 hours)
• Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
• Work includes use of cleaning chemicals and PPE
