Part-Time Special Response Security Officer

$22.00 per Hour
Location: Chicago, IL & Surrounding Suburbs

Lincoln Security Services is currently seeking professional, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our Special Response Unit (SRU) as Part-Time Security Officers. This position is well suited for security professionals who are adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working across multiple client locations within the Chicagoland area.

Position Overview

Special Response Officers provide coverage and support at various client sites based on operational needs. This role requires flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to maintaining high service standards.

Officers primarily work Monday through Friday, with opportunities for full time schedules as shifts become available. Candidates must be available to report as early as 6:30 AM and remain available until 8:00 PM, depending on assignment requirements.

Important: Applicants must have a reliable personal vehicle, be willing to travel daily to multiple client locations, and maintain consistent communication via phone and email.

Key Responsibilities
β€’ Conduct patrols and monitor assigned properties to ensure safety and security
β€’ Maintain a visible and professional presence at all assigned locations
β€’ Observe, deter, and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations
β€’ Respond to incidents and conduct preliminary investigations when necessary
β€’ Complete accurate and detailed daily activity logs and incident reports
β€’ Assist with access control, surveillance monitoring, and general site operations
β€’ Adhere to all company, client, and legal standards

Qualifications
β€’ Minimum of 21 years of age
β€’ Valid Illinois PERC Card
β€’ 20-Hour Security Training Certificate
β€’ Valid Illinois Driver’s License
β€’ Reliable personal vehicle
β€’ Ability to travel throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs
β€’ High school diploma, GED, or transcripts required
β€’ Minimum of 6 months of recent security experience with stable work history
β€’ Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
β€’ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
