Marksman Security Corporation is accepting applications for Licensed Security Officers in an active, engaging atmosphere at surrounding malls. This job entails engaging with the public and responding to calls for service in the public right-of-way.

Applicants need to be able and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Be able to conduct extended foot patrols of the mall area.

Use of mall security vehicle may be required.

This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time!

Responsibilities:

Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of areas in the public right of way to identify potential safety and security risks

Maintain a visible presence and engage in professional public interactions

Document all interactions in a clear and concise written report, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)

Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking, and or in possession of prohibited items

Other duties to be determined by management

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age or older

Valid TX driver's license *Must have clean driving record

Valid Texas Level II Guard License

Professional demeanor and appearance

Minimum of one year of security experience

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
