Overview

Apache Workforce is seeking experienced Pipe Welders to support industrial fabrication and piping system projects for multiple manufacturing partners. This role focuses on welding and assembling piping systems used in industrial equipment and production environments.

Candidates must have strong experience in pipe welding, blueprint interpretation, and working with industrial piping materials.

What You’ll Be Doing

Pipe Welders are responsible for:
β€’ Welding and fabricating industrial piping systems and components
β€’ Performing MIG and TIG welding (and additional processes as required)
β€’ Reading and interpreting piping drawings, weld symbols, and P&IDs
β€’ Selecting appropriate filler materials for different metals and pipe applications
β€’ Setting up welding equipment and adjusting machine parameters as needed
β€’ Performing visual inspections and quality checks on completed welds
β€’ Using measuring tools to verify alignment, fit-up, and weld accuracy
β€’ Grinding, finishing, and preparing pipe joints using hand and power tools
β€’ Maintaining safe, clean, and organized work areas
β€’ Supporting fabrication and production needs as assigned

What We’re Looking For
β€’ Minimum 5 years of pipe welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
β€’ Strong proficiency in MIG and TIG welding processes
β€’ Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, pipe drawings, and welding blueprints
β€’ Knowledge of pipe schedules, fittings, and base materials
β€’ Experience using measuring and inspection tools
β€’ Ability to pass an internal welding test prior to placement
β€’ Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
β€’ Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

Work Environment

Work is performed in an industrial fabrication shop environment and may include:
β€’ Lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
β€’ Standing, bending, and repetitive movement throughout shifts
β€’ Exposure to heat, noise, and non-climate-controlled conditions
β€’ Use of full PPE including gloves, helmet, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots
β€’ Shifts up to 10 hours per day, up to 6 days per week depending on project needs

Pay Range:

$20.00 – $31.00/hr (based on experience, testing results, and assignment)
