100% Travel – United States

The Role

This is a fully travel-based position supporting critical manufacturing operations through extended, on-site deployments across the United States. Candidates must be open and willing to travel nationwide and remain on assignment for the duration of the client’s need.

The Opportunity

We are seeking highly skilled MIG/TIG/Flux-Core/Stick/Submerged Arc Weldersfor nationwide traveling assignments.
• Pay: $38/hr and up (based on experience and project scope)
• Per Diem: $125–$180/day (location dependent, tax-free)
• Project Length: Open-ended (typically 6+ months)
• Travel Experience: Preferred, not required
• Commitment: Ability to stay on site as long as the client requires support

Required Experience

We are seeking highly skilled MIG / TIG / Flux-Core/Stick/Submerged Arc (GMAW, GTAW,FCAW, SMAW,SAW) welders with a minimum of 5 years of verifiable welding experience. The ideal candidate will have proven experience welding a wide variety of metals in multiple positions, and will be either currently or previously certified to:

ASME Section IX (U, R or PP)

AWS D17.1 (A, B or C)

API 1104

AWS D1.1

NAVSEA

Other AWS, ASME or API codes

Please note: Weld tests are frequently conducted by our customers at their site on day one or two of placement.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG, TIG, Flux-Core Stick or Submerged Arc welding in accordance with applicable welding procedures (WPS)

Fit up and weld components to required codes and specifications

Interpret and work from blueprints with weld symbols and technical drawings

Set up welding equipment and select proper materials filler metals set in WPS documents

Perform visual inspections and ensure weld quality meets code and customer requirements

Maintain accurate documentation and follow quality and safety standards

Work collaboratively with fabrication, quality, and engineering teams

Required Qualifications

Current or previous welding certification with the ability to recertify

Minimum 5 years of verifiable MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, Stick or Submerged Arc welding experience

Strong knowledge of welding codes, procedures, and quality standards

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols

Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in aerospace, industrial, refinery or power generation environments

Familiarity with NDE requirements (VT, PT, MT, RT, UT)

Ability to weld in multiple positions
