Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dependable part time janitor to come join our team. You'll be responsible for keeping building clean. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, so our janitor/sanitation staff will need to be hardworking and willing to engage in a number of cleaning activities.

Janitor Duties and Responsibilities (Evening after 6pm) include but are not limited to:

-Cleaning Duties:
• Regularly Sweeping,
• Weekly mopping,
• Weekly vacuuming floors
• Cleaning windows and glass mirrors,
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass
• Emptying trash and recycling bins
• Sanitizing restrooms (toilets, sinks, counters, floors)
• Restocking supplies like soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other cleaning supplies.

Maintenance Responsibilities
• Reporting repairs or safety hazards (leaks, broken equipment, etc.)
• Performing minor repairs (changing light bulbs, unclogging drains)
• Maintaining cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums, etc.)
• Following proper use of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures

Specialized Tasks (depending on job)
• Floor care (waxing, polishing, carpet cleaning)
• Disinfecting high-touch areas, especially in healthcare or public spaces

Safety & Compliance
• Following workplace safety standards (like OSHA guidelines)
• Using personal protective equipment (gloves, masks if needed)
• Properly handling hazardous materials and waste
