ACT 2 Services provides scheduled linehaul services between the West Coast and Texas. Through our asset-based operations and solution-oriented service, we can offer custom logistics for each customer. Providing this flexibility drives value to their supply chain.

Our current success has come organically over several decades. We began our company in 1985 when our two company founders purchased a location based at SFO. Within just a couple years our company became the premier road feeder service to the air cargo industry between AUS, BOI, DFW, ELP, IAH, LAX, LRD, MFE, PDX, SEA, SFO, SLC, PDX, and YVR.

Job Summary:

We are looking for Class A Drivers to run ad hoc routes in support of our operations. Drivers will be based in Los Angeles, CA

Compensation:

Drivers are compensated on a mileage basis while running over the road and on a per hour basis during the performance of pickup and delivery.

Starting pay is $.55/mile plus $30/hour.

Brief Job Description:

· Pickup, over the road movement and delivery of shipments from our customers’ locations and ACT2 terminals.

· Professional, courteous, and service-oriented.

· Comply with all DOT and WSP regulations.

· Preform pre- and post-trip tractor and trailer inspections.

· Follow company procedures for documentation/signatures for pickups and deliveries.

· Follow all company safety policies and TSA security requirements.

· Communicate with dispatch of all delays, traffic, and mechanical issues.

· Promptly report all accidents/incidents involving company equipment or freight management.

· Keep trucks clean and fueled up.

· Perform other duties as required and work overtime as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

· Applicants must have at least two years of verifiable Class A tractor trailer driving experience.

· Possess a current Medical Card.

· Clean MVR (no more than two traffic violation convictions, and one preventable accident within the past 3 years)

· Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

· Able to lift 50 lbs.

· Hazmat preferred but not required at time of hire. Continued employment will depend upon hazmat certification. (ACT2 will supply training and bear costs).
