Responsibilities/Knowledge Include:
• Preparing components or areas for welding, including cleaning, layout, and setup.
• Executing welding tasks using SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW methods; inspections will follow VT and PT standards.
• Operating arc welding equipment, oxyfuel cutting torches, and other cutting tools to ensure precision in alignment and fit.
• Understanding and adhering to safety protocols during welding processes.
• Reading and interpreting welding symbols from blueprints, specifications, and sketches.
• Setting up machines and equipment for welding jobs.
