Job Description
Position Summary –

· Foodkick is currently seeking a general laborer in the New York City area.

· This associate is responsible for the production of goods in the fresh department and quality of all products ordered and produced for customers.

Responsibilities:
• Transfer finished products and raw material around the site and warehouse.
• Analyze quality of produce by season, sizing, color, texture, and taste to provide a rating for the product.
• Executed safe food practices involving perishables, consumable and or Short shelf life items in HMR.
• Process all manufacturing and production of raw materials as required for meat, and seafood using SAP.
• Check packages for correct labeling to ensure an accuracy of all order fulfillment and production requirements using SAP.
• Assist in shut down procedures including scraping of all goods not used for production.
• Assist in housekeeping of the department to meet GMP’s.
• Maintain compliance with food and safety rules policies and procedures in producing and packaging goods.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Able to communicate in English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
• Must be able to start overnight or early morning hours (start times vary by department)
• Able to stand for long period of times
• Ability to perform twisting, turning and bending
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs
• Comfortable and able to work an 8 to 12-hour shift (hours per day are based on business need)
• Must be comfortable in warehouse/production environment
• Experience in a Meat or Seafood a plus
• Ability to meet production and accuracy standards in a fast-paced work environment.
• Basic reading and math skills
• Detail Oriented
• Ability to work in climate from 32 to 38 degrees
