The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
Duties
• Operate tractor-trailer units to transport freight to designated locations.
• Execute route driving efficiently, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of truck driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road.
Requirements
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Familiarity with truck route driving and ability to navigate efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Able to safely operate automatic transmission equipment
• Valid Class A CDL required – applicants with learner’s permits or temporary licenses will not be considered.
• Must demonstrate basic truck operating skills acquired through CDL training programs or equivalent experience.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude
