Au Cheval New York, a part of Hogsalt, is looking for dedicated and experienced Full Time Line Cooks ($24-$25/hour) to join our team!

Experience & Qualifications:
β€’ 1 year of cooking experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.
β€’ Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.
β€’ Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
β€’ Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, and stooping.
β€’ Ability to remain positive and productive in a potentially hot or cold work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
β€’ Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies, ensuring proper inventory control.
β€’ Cook and prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff according to the Hogsalt Recipe Index, ensuring food quality and time standards are always met.
β€’ Maintain a high level of communication, understand the verbiage for call backs of menu items, and keep lines of dialogue open and relevant to service.
β€’ Answer, report to, and follow instructions and direction from Sous Chef, Executive Chef, or other leadership.
β€’ Properly clean and break down station at the end of service, ensuring all food handling and food storage standards are met.
β€’ Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations at all times.
β€’ Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, leadership, vendors, and guests..
