Job Description
Licensed Security Officers – Major NYC Event

A private security firm is seeking qualified candidates with an active New York State Security Guard License to assist with staffing a major New York City detail requiring 100+ unarmed security officers. Positions are available in all areas of Manhattan and include all shifts.

These assignments require candidates who demonstrate a professional appearance, maturity, reliability, and open availability. Ideal candidates will have experience in concierge services, customer service, and cooperative or residential building security.

Uniform requirements may vary depending on the assigned location. Candidates are encouraged to have their own black business suit, white dress shirt, and black tie. Guards assigned to locations that do not require a suit, and tie must wear black dress slacks and black shoes. Those guards will additionally be issued a company security shirt.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Standing for extended periods
• Concierge and customer service functions
• Maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor
• Observing and reporting security concerns
• Preparing incident reports when required
• Maintaining open availability to work assigned schedules
