Description:

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. As a Bench Welder - 2nd Shift, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities not limited to:
• Perform welding and soldering tasks to join metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Use basic math skills to measure, cut, and shape metal pieces
• Operate various tools and equipment such as welding machines, grinders, and calipers
• Assemble and weld components according to specifications
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

Skills - To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Proficient in various welding techniques, including stick welding
• Knowledge of ductwork fabrication and installation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
• Familiarity with operating press brake machines is a plus
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to use calipers for precise measurements
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process
