About the Role:

The Hotel Restaurant Steward plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall hygiene standards of the hotel's employee breakroom, dining, and kitchen areas. This position ensures that all dishware, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety regulations. The steward supports the kitchen and service teams by managing waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and assisting with basic food preparation tasks when necessary. By maintaining a clean and efficient work environment, the steward directly contributes to the restaurant's smooth operation and enhances the guest dining experience. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in the hotel restaurant and collaboration center. Minimum Qualifications:
β€’ High school diploma or equivalent.
β€’ Previous experience in a similar steward or dishwashing role within a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
β€’ Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items.
β€’ Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards in food service settings.
β€’ Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
β€’ Must be able to work flexible schedules: morning and day shifts, weekends, and holidays

β€’ Wash, clean, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines and manual methods.
β€’ Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dishwashing area, collab center, and storage spaces to comply with health and safety standards.
β€’ Dispose of waste and recyclables properly and ensure timely removal to maintain a hygienic environment.
β€’ Assist kitchen and service staff by replenishing supplies such as clean linens, condiments, and tableware as needed.
β€’ Support food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables or assembling simple ingredients when requested by the kitchen team.
