Job Description
Environmental Service Worker

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking an Environmental Service Worker to work at a facility in Philadelphia, PA. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $20.34 / hour

Shift Details:
• 11:30am - 8:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of additional shifts if coverage is needed due to staffing requirements.

It is essential that the selected individual be reliable and able to commit to those specific days. Additionally, it is important for this employee to be a self-starter, given the critical nature of weekend coverage.

Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 2 years with experience as an Environmental Service Worker
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and safety procedures
• Ability to follow instructions and infection control guidelines
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
• Good time management skills
• Reliable and responsible
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Basic communication skills

Job Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms and common areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
• Clean and disinfect restrooms
• Refill supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.)
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces (beds, doorknobs, equipment)
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals properly
• Report maintenance or safety issues
• Support a clean and safe healthcare environment
