Job Description
Anchor Talent has partnered with a global manufacturer to recruit a Welder. This role is part of an integral production team responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing components used in industrial trucks and heavy equipment. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform MIG welding on structural components and assemblies
• Assemble metal parts and subassemblies according to blueprints and work instructions
• Read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols, and specifications
• Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, and other shop tools
• Inspect welds and finished components to ensure quality and accuracy
• Perform rework, grinding, and finishing as needed
• Support production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of MIG welding and/or fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
• Experience using measuring tools (tape measure, square, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred
• Experience in industrial or heavy equipment manufacturing
• Ability to work with thicker gauge materials and structural welds

Work Environment & Schedule
• First shift (Monday–Friday)
• Industrial manufacturing environment with physical demands including lifting, standing, and repetitive motion
