What You'll Do:
β€’ Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
β€’ Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
β€’ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
β€’ Monitor entrances, lobbies, loading areas, and other designated locations to help to control access, verify visitor activity, and support daily property operations.
β€’ Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or emergency services as needed regarding incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:
β€’ Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
β€’ Be 21+ years of age.
β€’ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
β€’ Have customer service experience preferred.
β€’ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
β€’ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
β€’ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
β€’ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
β€’ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
β€’ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
β€’ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
