Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Picker/Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and providing support in various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
• Packing kits per kit requirements, using inventory items with exact quantities
• Maintaining inventory levels
• Scheduling shipments and logistics, verifying the contents of outgoing shipments
• Determining methods and affixing shipping labels with identifying information, charges and payment information
• Packing containers with fillers, spacers and protective padding ,and securing cartons and containers
• Documenting and sending returned shipments of damaged, defective, or unsold products
• Preparing and printing shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
• Taking and managing inventory and keeping the area secured
• Organizing and maintaining the stockroom through cataloging and cleaning on a scheduled basis
• Maintaining all computerized shipping and distribution records and compiling reports for management
• Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Must be able to lift 50+lbs
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required
