As per the Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, the minimum wage for cleaning staff in Turkey is 25,500 TL net per month as of 1 January 2026. Employers must pay this amount plus 15% overtime rate for hours exceeding 45 per week. The wage is announced in the Resmi Gazete and applies uniformly to all cleaning roles without regional variation.

As per Türkiye İş Kurumu, applicants must submit a valid TC Kimlik Kartı, İŞKUR registration certificate, and a recent health report from a public hospital. No education certificate is required for cleaning positions but a basic safety training certificate dated after 2025 must be uploaded. Applications are processed only via the e-İŞKUR portal.

As per the Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, cleaning staff earning exactly 25,500 TL net monthly in 2026 are exempt from income tax up to 306,000 TL annually. Any amount above this threshold is taxed at 15% starting from the first payroll in the following month. Employers handle withholding and submit declarations monthly.
