Job Purpose:To ensure the safety and security of the warehouse premises, personnel, and inventory by conducting regular patrols, monitoring access, and responding promptly to security incidents or breaches.Key Responsibilities:• Monitor and control access to the warehouse – authorize entry for employees, visitors, and vehicles.• Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to identify suspicious activity or potential hazards.• Check and secure doors, windows, gates, and equipment at the start and end of shifts.• Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels for unusual activity or unauthorized access.• Record daily activities and incidents in a security log.• Respond to alarms or emergencies (e.g., fire, theft, medical situations) according to company procedures.• Inspect delivery trucks and incoming/outgoing goods to prevent theft or tampering.• Ensure compliance with safety and security policies, including visitor management and lockdown protocols.• Report maintenance or safety hazards (e.g., broken locks, lighting issues).• Assist in investigations of thefts, damages, or other incidents.• Cooperate with police, emergency services, or external security providers as required.Requirements:Education:• Minimum secondary school qualification (O-Level/SPM or equivalent)Experience:• 1–2 years in a security-related role (preferably in warehouse or industrial environment)Skills:• Strong observation and attention to detail• Good communication and report-writing skills• Physically fit and able to work on rotating shifts (including nights/weekends)• Familiar with basic security equipment (e.g., CCTV, two-way radios)Other Requirements:• Valid security license• No criminal record• Punctual, responsible, and trustworthy
