What you'll do:

As Restaurant General Manager in Singapore’s leading hospitality group, you will be responsible for orchestrating every aspect of the restaurant’s daily operations.
• Promote the core values and culture of the restaurant by consistently delivering excellence in food, beverage, service, and hospitality across all touchpoints.
• Lead service as a section manager by actively engaging in every step of guest interaction including greeting, menu presentation, order taking, beverage service, food presentation, grilling, check handling, and fond farewells.
• Liaise between front-of-house and culinary teams during service to ensure seamless communication and harmonious operations.
• Develop positive customer relationships by addressing service needs promptly and resolving any issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Create and execute sales and profit plans aligned with budgetary goals while maintaining accountability for profitability through effective cost control measures.
• Direct ordering and inventory management for all departments within the restaurant to ensure optimal stock levels and minimise waste.
• Oversee team member coverage based on business needs while maintaining target labour costs through efficient scheduling.
• Manage all cash handling functions including loss prevention standards, reviewing procedures for deposits and safe management.
• Supervise daily restaurant administration such as payroll processing, opening/closing routines, service floor plans, and facility walk-throughs to uphold high standards of safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and organisation.
• Establish systems of accountability by providing consistent feedback, coaching, disciplinary action when necessary, and performing back office POS functions including employee profile management and menu creation.

What you bring:

To excel as Restaurant General Manager within this esteemed hospitality group in Singapore, you will bring extensive experience from the food & beverage sector alongside academic credentials in hospitality or culinary management.
• Minimum eight years’ experience in the food & beverage industry with a degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Management highly preferred.
