Job Description
Safely operate and maneuver heavy trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and safety protocols.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identifying any mechanical issues and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy.Transport goods and materials efficiently, adhering to delivery schedules and maintaining accurate logs of mileage and fuel consumption.Load and unload cargo as necessary, using proper techniques to prevent damage and injury. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in heavy truck operation is a plus.Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record and endorsements as required.Minimum of 5 years of experience driving heavy trucks, preferably in a similar industry.Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic repair skills to address minor issues on the road.
