Job Description
Description

We are looking for a security and safety officer to help maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting inspections, monitoring security systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting incident response and safety awareness activities.

Key responsibilities
• Conduct routine inspections and report hazards or unsafe conditions
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely closure
• Check readiness of safety and security equipment
• Monitor security guards’ performance and compliance
• Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activities
• Support supervision of security personnel
• Prepare incident reports and escalate critical issues
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements
• Assist with audits, inspections, and closure of findings
• Support safety training, inductions, and awareness activities
• Monitor staff compliance and promote a safety culture
• Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting

Requirements
• Basic understanding of safety regulations, security systems, and emergency response procedures
• 0–1 years of relevant experience in safety, security, or a related field
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and access control technologies
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures
• Capable of responding effectively and efficiently to security or safety incidents
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Certified under the Occupational Safety and Health Program (Practitioner or Professional level)
• Holder of a valid Kwader certificate
• Additional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or OSHA 30 are considered an advantage
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide support during emergency situations
