Job Description
The Wrapping & Packing Section Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all packing, wrapping, labeling, and final presentation activities for chocolates, cakes, pastries, and related products. The role ensures products are packed accurately, hygienically, attractively, and delivered on time while maintaining company quality standards and operational efficiency. The supervisor also manages packing staff, monitors inventory of packaging materials, and ensures compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise daily wrapping and packing operations for chocolates, cakes, pastries, and gift items.
• Ensure all products are packed according to company presentation and quality standards.
• Monitor product handling to prevent damage and maintain freshness during packing and dispatch.
• Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely order completion and delivery readiness.
• Check product labels, expiry dates, batch numbers, and packaging accuracy before dispatch.
• Ensure proper use of packaging materials including boxes, ribbons, stickers, trays, bags, and customized wrapping items.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards within the packing area.
• Train and guide packing staff on packing methods, presentation standards, hygiene practices, and productivity expectations.
• Prepare staff schedules and allocate manpower according to operational requirements.
• Monitor stock levels of packaging materials and coordinate with purchasing/store teams for replenishment.
• Reduce wastage and improve packing efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
• Handle customized packing requests for special occasions, corporate orders, and seasonal promotions.
• Conduct routine quality checks and report any damaged or defective items to management.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, HACCP standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Maintain proper records related to packing output, wastage, and inventory usage.

Requirements
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in packing, production, or operations within a bakery, chocolate shop, confectionery, or F&B environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Strong attention to detail and product presentation.
• Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and stock handling.
• Ability to handle customized and high-volume orders efficiently.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
