Driver 1 Month Temporary

As per the Ministry of Labour, the minimum wage for packing jobs in Qatar is 1,200 QAR per month as of 1 January 2026. Overtime after 8 hours daily or 48 hours weekly is paid at 1.25 times the basic hourly rate. Employers must deposit salaries into approved bank accounts by the 7th of each month.

Indian nationals require a Qatari work visa sponsored by the employer and registered in the Ministry of Labour portal, valid for two years. Required documents include a valid passport, medical fitness certificate from Hamad Medical Corporation, and police clearance issued within the last three months. The employer pays the 300 QAR visa fee and completes attestation at the Qatar Embassy in New Delhi.

The Ministry of Labour requires a minimum secondary school certificate plus six months of documented warehouse or packing experience for packing roles. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass a basic fitness test conducted at approved centres. No university degree is needed but a valid forklift operator certificate adds 200 QAR to the starting salary.

Applications must be submitted via the Ministry of Labour e-services portal with a scanned passport, attested educational certificates, and a recent photograph. Employers upload the job offer contract within 10 days and the worker signs electronically before arrival. Processing takes exactly 14 calendar days with no fees charged to the applicant.
