Job Description
Main Responsibilities The Student Security Officer contributes to a secure, safe, orderly, and disciplined environment for students and adults that supports learning and teaching by helping ensure students adhere to school rules, policies, and procedures, and teachers fulfill their supervisory duties effectively during recess and transitions.

Main Duties
• Inspect students' uniforms in the classrooms to ensure adherence to the school's dress code
• Supervise student compliance with school regulations, including restrictions on mobile phone use and other prohibited gadgets and items
• Provide assistance to teachers in managing classroom behavior and addressing urgent issues
• Monitor and help address issues with student movement during transition periods, including arrival, noon, before recess, and dismissal, to ensure safe and orderly transitions
• Monitor teachers' compliance with their responsibilities during school recess, to help ensure punctuality and effective supervision
• Respond promptly to emergencies or conflicts, ensuring swift resolution and communication with relevant parties
• Report any violations of school regulations or policies made by students or school staff to the Counselor, Vice Principal or Principal as required
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and attend staff meetings as required
• Performs other related, similar, or logical duties as required or assigned

Requirements
• A Middle/ High School degree
• Aged between 22 and 40 years old and in good physical health
• 3+ years of experience, preferably 2 in a similar role
• Proactive with a positive attitude
• Able to operate with minimal supervision and self-motivated when given new assignments
• Strong oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English
• Works safely and establishes a safe environment; reacts quickly in emergency situations to maximize children's safety
• Able to analyze situations and take appropriate action in both routine and emergency situations without immediate supervision

Benefits
• End of service benefit equivalent to one-month basic monthly salary for every full year of service. The basic salary is 70% of the gross salary. The end-of-service benefit is paid when staff complete a minimum of one year
• Annual summer leave of 40 days upon completing one full academic year
