Job Description
Welding Engineering & Control
• Develop, review, and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welding Qualification Records (WQTR).
• Ensure welding activities comply with applicable codes and standards such as AWS, ASME, API, ISO, and DNV.
• Select appropriate welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW) based on material and application.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisors and welders on welding techniques and procedures.

Fabrication Yard Support
• Support fabrication activities including fit?up, welding, repair welding, and distortion control.
• Assist in resolving welding?related production issues and non?conformities.
• Ensure proper pre?heat, interpass temperature, post?weld heat treatment (PWHT), and consumable control.
• Coordinate welding activities during trial assemblies and offshore structure modules fabrication.
