Job Description
A fine dine dining, multi cuisine restuarant in sohar is seeking a sophisticated and high-energy Restaurant Captain to lead our service team and provide an impeccable dining experience for our guests. You will be the face of the dining room, responsible for supervising service flow, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring every guest receives personalized, five-star attention.

Key Responsibilities
β€’ Floor Leadership: Oversee a designated section of the restaurant, ensuring servers and runners maintain pace and precision.
β€’ Guest Relations: Greet guests, present menus with expert knowledge, and handle table-side preparations (e.g., carving, flambΓ©, or wine service) where required.
β€’ Revenue Growth: Utilize suggestive selling techniques to increase average check size through wine pairings, specials, and premium upgrades.
β€’ Quality Control: Inspect every dish and drink before it reaches the table to ensure it meets our presentation and temperature standards.
β€’ Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify guest dissatisfaction and resolve issues on the spot with poise and professional tact.
β€’ Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the "Front of House" and the kitchen to manage timing and special requests.

Required Qualifications & Experience
β€’ Experience: Minimum 2 years in a high-volume or fine-dining environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (Lead Server or Captain).
β€’ Product Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of international cuisines.
β€’ Tech Savvy: Proficient in modern POS systems.
β€’ Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills and the ability to remain calm under high-pressure "rush" periods.
β€’ Physicality: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift.
