When you average that out, that's an investment of $3.8 million every day!He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role Based in Mangere, our Maintenance Services Network (MSN) team have an exciting opportunity for a Water Serviceperson to join the team.In This Role, Your Duties And Responsibilities Will IncludeInstallations and repair of water pipes and mains and fire hydrants.Installation of new water metersRelocation of existing water connectionsMaintenance on water networksOperation of small diggers and loaders to excavate and backfill Watercare assetsMinor infrastructure upgradesWork as part of the team on-call standby rosterA willingness to complete further studies and work towards the Water Industry Infrastructure works qualification through Connexis. You will be an excellent communicator, engaging with a high standard of customer service as you will regularly interact with our customers and members of the public.Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About you In This Role You Will BringConfidence in operating a variety of hand tools and small plant machinery?A great work ethic and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.Relevant industry experience within the Water industryA full, clean NZ Drivers Licence (Class 1).
