As per the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour, the minimum wage for welder jobs in Kuwait is 300 KWD per month as of 2026. Welders receive 1.5 times the hourly rate for overtime beyond 8 hours daily.

As per the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour, expat welders need an Article 18 work permit sponsored by a Kuwaiti employer valid for 1-3 years as of 2026. The permit costs 10 KWD for issuance and must be renewed before expiry.
