Job Description
• Plan daily/weekly packing schedule as per orders/dispatch plan
• Allocate work to packers; ensure output targets are met
• Ensure correct packing as per invoice (SKU, qty, batch, MRP, freebies/BOGO)
• Oversee labeling, sealing, shrink-wrapping, boxing, and outer carton marking
• Maintain packaging material stock (boxes, labels, tape, bubble wrap); raise reorder in time
• Coordinate with label/box printers and vendors for timely supply
• Quality checks: leakage/damage, correct labeling, tamper seal, neat finish
• Maintain records: production/packing register, batch-wise packing, material usage
• Manage demo/sample packing and maintain sample + demo stock registers
• Maintain cleanliness, 5S, and safety in packing area/stock room
• Train staff on SOPs; reduce errors, returns, and breakage
• Coordinate with dispatch/courier team and update on readiness/status
• Basic computer/WhatsApp communication for updates and reporting to management
