As per the Ministry of Labour & Employment, the minimum wage for unskilled packing workers in Delhi is ₹18,766 per month from 1 April 2026. Overtime must be paid at double the ordinary rate for hours beyond 8 per day. This rate applies to all registered establishments under the Minimum Wages Act.

As per the Ministry of Labour & Employment, candidates for packing jobs must have passed Class 8 and be between 18 and 45 years of age. No prior experience is mandated for entry-level roles in registered warehouses. Employers must verify Aadhaar-linked records during hiring.

They are entitled to 15 days of earned leave after 240 days of work and 7 days of casual leave annually. Night shifts require additional rest of 12 hours between shifts.
