Job Description
Accountability Areas

Key Related Activities

Design, development or validation of packaging for new projects
• Understanding customer requirements.
• Identifying the Supplier, obtaining sample, validation & Obtain Customer approval
• Making SOP
• Ensure Customer requirement is met with in the Targeted Price.

Maintain 5s & Work Area Improvement
• Work Area Improvement
• Maintain the area in an organized Manner
• Identification & Traceability of the Parts
• Ensure FIFO of the Parts

Packing and Despatch of materials to customers on time
• Plan the packing materials based on the sales plan and no dispatch stoppage due to non-availability of material
• Able to handle 30+ people and ensure packing of parts as per SOP
• Coordinating with Internal Dept. for material follow up
• Coordinating with transporters for vehicle deployment.
• Making ASN , Generating Label in Customer website & ensure Road permit for dispatch wherever necessary
• Dispatching On time and ensure the goods are transported and reached safely to Customer
• Maintain zero complaint due to wrong dispatch/damage due to packing
• Tracking dispatch status and ensure delivery with respect to SLA
• Ensure proper documentation (invoice, e-way bill, Test certificates etc.)

Maintaining Finished Goods Inventory with zero variance
• Making periodical Perpetual inventory and circulating a report as defined
• Weekly Report on FG inventory with Ageing
• Ensure no discrepancy in FG Inventory between physical Vs SAP

Cost reduction Initiatives and ensuring the expenses within Budget
• Prepare and monitor Packing Budget as per the Sales Forecast
• Initiate Cost Reduction & Implementation Plan
• Weekly cost tracker & ensure Actual Cost are well in the Budget
• Proactive approach on Cost reduction like Alternate source finding, Alternate solution further to reduce the packaging Cost, Transportation Cost, Third party Cost
• Optimize the outbound transportation and monitoring and alert management well in time any increase as against the budget
• Monitor third party manpower cost and maintain well within budget

• Maintaining zero Packing complaint
• Achieve Outbound Packing Cost reduction as per the MBO
• Achieve Outbound Transportation Cost reduction as per the MBO
• Review with Transporters for adhering with SLA agreed and maintining actuals as per the MBO
• Tracking packing stocks and ensuring stock out siuation with dash board
