Our client is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join their team as Apprentice Welders in Mumbai, Maharashtra, IN . Key Responsibilities:
Assist experienced welders in various tasks, including preparing materials, setting up equipment, and performing basic welding operations. Learn and apply different welding techniques such as Stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), and TIG (GTAW). Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand project requirements. Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently under supervision. Perform basic maintenance on welding tools and equipment. Inspect welds for quality and adherence to specifications. Follow all safety protocols and procedures on the shop floor. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Participate actively in all training sessions and workshops. Develop skills in cutting, grinding, and fitting metal components. Understand the properties of different metals and their welding requirements. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Gain experience in troubleshooting common welding issues. Learn about different types of welding consumables and their applications. Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and precision. Ideal Candidate Profile:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Good physical condition and ability to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy items Basic understanding of shop safety principles is a plus Previous exposure to shop environments or vocational training is advantageous but not required Excellent attitude and commitment to completing the apprenticeship program Willingness to work in Mumbai, Maharashtra, IN Must be reliable and punctual This apprenticeship program is designed to provide a solid foundation for a successful career in welding.
